Research Interests Stieva (they/them) is a war and society scholar who specializes in the study of racism within the Canadian military during the twenthieth century. Their current project focuses on identifying and understanding the effects of anti-Black racism within Canada's Second World War effort. Additionally, they are developing a manuscript based upon their doctoral research which explores anti-Black racism within the Canadian Expeditionary Force during the First World War. |

Research Interests Story is a historian of medicine, disability, colonialism and war in modern Canada. He has written several articles on the legacies of the First World War and is currently developing a manuscript on the history of tuberculosis illness in early twentieth century Canada with McGill-Queen’s University Press. |

Research Interests Wojtych is a historian of education and museums in Europe and North America. At Western, he analyses how history textbooks foster (and hinder) reconciliation in Canada, Germany, and Poland. |
